It is easy to see that Portland is a unique city, but what makes this place so special is that we can travel a few miles in any direction and are soon far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Case in point is Hoyt Arboretum in the tree filled hills of Washington Park minutes away from downtown Portland. Here is where we met Jessica and Brian for their engagement shoot. We initially planned it for the first Saturday in May, and as luck would have it, it was a dry day!

This was the first time the Luna guys had a shoot here, but we will definitely be back. The lush diverse vegetation makes for an awesome backdrop and will constantly change with the seasons. We scouted a few locations and were lucky enough to get some cloud breaks. Although it was a bit chilly, we all had a great time with such a lovely couple.
